Welcome to the KU School of Pharmacy Website

The KU School of Pharmacy accepts 170 new students a year. Those students are selected from among the more than 450 annual applicants. It’s a competitive process that ensures that each class comprises the best and brightest students.

Once in our program, students work closely together in the laboratory, the classroom, and in study groups. The collaborative environment ensures that KU School of Pharmacy students thrive in the intense but rewarding program and that they are among the country’s most highly-trained pharmacy practitioners. Our attrition rate throughout the four-year program is less than one percent, and our placement rate upon graduation is 100 percent.
