PharmD Financial Aid

General University

The Office of Student Financial Aid, 50 Strong Hall, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas 66045, administers a large program of scholarships, loans, and part-time employment to benefit K.U. students. In recent years, about $29 million in various forms of aid have been processed annually through the office, including about $2 million annually in short-term loans. For information on resources, prospective students should write to or visit the Office of Student Financial Aid. Some financial aid programs have application deadlines as early as February 1. The earlier the application is received and the student's file is completed, the better the chance of obtaining a scholarship.

School of Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Office of Student Financial Aid, has a minimal amount of financial assistance available. Applications are received in the dean's office according to an announced schedule each year. Awarding of assistance is based on merit and need. Assistance is available for entering students as well as for continuing students.
